A little Politics

Well, first, I have to apologize for not posting in a little while. Things have been a little crazy for me and then they had my Blog under review.

Let me get right into it. First, Obama and McCain both won South Carolina's primaries. Thompson, my preferred candidate has since dropped out. This puts me in a little bit of a quandry. If you would have asked me last year who I was going to vote for, I would have, without hesitation, said McCain. I have a lot of respect for what he has endured for this country. However, his recent history in the Senate has gotten a little bit off of the conservative agenda. The thing that ticked me off the most was that he partnered with Ted Kennedy, of all people, on the imigration bill this past year. So, anyway, right now I just am not sure who I would rather have as the Republican nominee. I still have to do a little more research.

As far as the other side of the ticket, I don't know who scares me more, Clinton or Obama. They both are running on a socialist platform whether they want to admit it or not. Look at it this way; this country was founded because of people not wanting a king to tell them what they could and could not do. What was best for them, etc. So what makes these people think they know what's best for me. Let me decide for myself what health care I should have. And let me keep the money that I have worked so hard to earn to support my family.

There are a couple of things that I have gotten a pretty good kick out of, especially this past year. Both Clinton and Obama believe, for some strange reason, that IF they get elected into the White House, then they will automatically be able to get whatever they want and turn our system into a socialist run country. They forget that they still have to pass most of what they want past Congress. Just like the rest of the Democrats thought, when they gained control over the House and the Senate, last year, that they would be able to do whatever they wanted. Now, we have a Congress in session that has the lowest approval rating EVER!!! They think that we don't know what's going on. The fact of the matter is this, the people know that they have done nothing but try and push through their liberal B.S. agendas and no one is falling for it. Therefore, they have gotten less done than any other session of Congress since I have actually been keeping track of all of this. They thought they could block the President from continuing his agena in Iraq, they were wrong. They tried to turn the people against the President by saying that the surge, which CONGRESS approved, almost unanimously, wasn't working just 2 months into the process of getting all of them there. The full surge wasn't even in place and they were already saying that we had lost. They have threatened to cut off funding for the war (I have actually lost track of how many times) and leave our men and women in the lurch without the equipment they need to complete the job that CONGRESS voted UNANIMOUSLY to send them to do. They didn't succeed. I personally, have no understanding of how anybody in this country can back anyone who has participated in this travesty. To me, that is pretty much every Democrat that is voted into office in the House of Representatives and the US Senate. I, personally, have no use for any of them, especially, Pelosi and Reid. I know they are just the most vocal, but, they put them selves there.

I will never apologize for my opinions, but, please have patience with me as I can't go into these tyrades at home. I would say too many things in front of the kids.
