Here we go again......

Alright now, let us first talk about what I mean by "here we go again". I mean, that something that one of the candidates has said I have heard somewhere before. So, "Here we go again!"

Any of you that has read almost any of my posts knows how I feel so it won't be too much of a surprise that I am going to be a little biased, alright, a lot biased.

On Father's Day, Barrak Obama stated, basically, that any fool can bear a child, but it takes a man to face the responsibility of raising a child. Well, Dr. Bill Cosby said this to the NAACP just a couple of years ago. He was criticized for saying this. He was actually called a traitor. I don't care what your ethnic background is, anyone can be a father, but being a DAD is something totally different. You can even be a dad if you are not married to the mother of the child. And, by the way, only a woman can bear a child. The man really has nothing to do with child bearing. Obama has been exalted for stating this. Now, why is it that someone who really has very little political experience and has not been on the national stage for very long gets tons of accolades for saying something so obvious while someone, who is iconic in our society says basically the same thing gets criticized for it? I don't understand this.

Today I heard that Obama has also said that the government should collect on the economic prosperity and invest in needed areas that are agreed upon. Now, I don't know about you, but this sounds an awful lot like let's tax more and then spend that money on what ever we decide we need to. REDISTRIBUTING FUNDS!! This is what it sounds like to me. Let's take the hard earned money from those who are successful and give it to someone who doesn't deserve it to begin with. That's SOCIALISM!!! It has been tried before. It doesn't work.

Why can't people see that we are the most powerful country in the history of the world? We nothing to apologize for. Granted, we should help out other, less fortunate people, but we don't owe them anything. We also should not be relying on other countries so heavily on resources that we truly have right here.

Again, just some food for thought.
