What the *&%$?!

Over the past couple of days I have been reading about something that really just sets my skin crawling. I still can't even come to grips with it.

It seems that the king liberal is so against the military that he is ready to propose a bill that would require Disabled Veterans to have their private insurance companies reimburse the federal government for their medical bills. So, thank you very much for serving your country and defending the very freedoms that we hold dear, but, we are not going to help you with those injuries you sustained while performing that service.

I can't even begin to tell you how upset this makes me. Some of us have spent the majority of our adult lives defending this country. Everyone who has served in the military DESERVES to be respected for their service. Not have our faces slapped.

Don't get me wrong, I am not asking for a handout. I just believe that it isn't too much to ask that the government cover the medical costs for disabilities incurred while on active duty in service of the country.

I know that the Democrats have had a history of disrespecting the military. So, this doesn't come as too much of a surprise. I mean, look at the track record. Pelosi and Reid both said in 2006 that the war was lost. This was before we even started to deploy the troops that they voted to send. They don't respect the military. They don't have any regard for the military. This is just the icing on the cake.

On a side note; tonight at 6pm EST, the Fair Tax will be discussed for one hour on the House floor. The discussion will be on C-SPAN. It may be a little late depending on other things on the schedule. But, they will be discussing how the Fair Tax is exactly what we need to pull us out of this recession and improve the economy right now. Hopefully, they will actually explain the whole thing well. So, please, tune in.

I feel the same way you do about the government taking care of the military and the veterans. Most of the veterans that are disabled are due to some kind of war our country has been in defending what we believe in. And yes they need to be treated with the UTMOST RESPECT. But most people who have never been in the military or had to defend our great counrty don't respect the military or the men and women who take the time to serve their country because they believe it is worth fighting for. And yes most of them are DEMOCRATS and to me that means HYPOCRITES.
